			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;d like to invite everyone to participate in the site selection vote for Canvention 32. There are two bids, for <a href="http://vcon.ca/" target="_blank">VCON 37</a> in Vancouver and <a href="http://www.whenwordscollide.org/" target="_blank">When Words Collide 2</a> in Calgary. This vote will be held at the annual general meeting of the Canadian Science Fiction and Fantasy Society, to be held at SFContario 2 on Saturday at 9 AM in the Gardenview room (of the Ramada Plaza Hotel). Bid representatives will be at the meeting to answer questions. Please have a look at the <a href="http://2011.sfcontario.ca/site/index.php?option=com_k2&amp;view=item&amp;layout=item&amp;id=411&amp;Itemid=245" target="_blank">bid presentations</a> on the SFContario website and help choose the site of next year&#8217;s Canadian national science fiction convention.</p>

<p>If you are going to vote, you must pay the voting fee, unless you are a SFContario 2 member.</p>
<p>SFContario 2 is the host convention and members of SFContario 2 are relieved of the requirement to pay the voting fee to cast a ballot.</p>
<p>The SFContario 2 membership fee increases this coming Monday, May 23, so, if you buy your membership now, you save twice: vote later for free, and save money on your SFContario 2 membership now.</p>
